T.V. Mount
A T.V. Mount seems simple enough, or not?
In my neighborhood, many of the homes have a space over the gas fireplace that’s hollow, and if not planned properly, can pose a real challenge,
Fortunately, someone thought ahead when building the faux surround above the fireplace,
With a couple of Stud Finders (I like two for accuracy), a laser level on a tripod, a ladder, an impact driver and a dual tilt bracket for your T.V. and your in business,…..oh yeah you’ll want another drill to drill your pilot hole for your bracket,
Go for a T.V. bracket that can tilt foward/ backward and side to side….many of the wall mount brackets today come with a leveling feature that can give you that final tweak,
Serendipitously, the studs behind the hollow void of the faux fireplace surround were centered in conjunction with my wall mount, I needed to angle in a tad with the bolts, but got four solid impact driven bolts into the two studs…solid as a rock!
Incidently, with a white extention cord and some clips, the power cord  was almost invisible against  the white surround,
In our house we came to the conclusion that the only way to configure our furniture was to hang our T.V above the fireplace,
Sometimes things that seem challenging have there way of working themselves out!
