Fence Repair

A recent client had a section of fencing that blew over in the high winds,

He wanted a low cost fix for his rental rather than installing a new fence,

Two 8′ metal poles pounded into the ground did the trick,

The ground was still soft from the rain which allowed the poles to penetrate about 2 1/2′ with a sledge hammer,

unfortunately the wood that the brackets needed to connect to had dry rot,

By adding lumber, I was able to connect the brackets to the new added lumber,

There was also a 4×4 down around the bottom of the fence that was very secure,

I was able to bracket off this 4×4 for added support,

I used 3 1/2 GRK screws that are self tapping with a star head for a better grip when drilling,

Overall. the section that was repaired was very secure and the client was happy
