Stair Makeover,

So, we changed the flooring in a kitchen/dining room with waterproof flooring,

We then needed to address the stairs,

The stairs were tiled,

We purchased some stair nose molding, Loctite all purpose adhesive, a couple of 1″x8″‘s…10’ long pieces of lumber and some quarter round pvc molding,

The first step was to to measure and cut our risers,

In our case we had to rap around the side of the step, we connected the “L” with our air gun,

After the risers were sized, we painted them with a Satin Finish (white), we chose satin for it’s easy clean feature,

Using our grinder, we scored the tile with a concrete blade for better adhesion of our risers,

After gluing our risers we cut our stair nose molding, and glued in place,

Note: if the stairs are not plumb and square, having some weighted objects (dumbells work well) to press and hold down the molding/risers as needed,

We then installed our water proof flooring puzzling it together our stair nose molding,

We still need to install the top stair nose molding and continue the waterproof flooring into the landing area,

…….We’ll keep you posted👍👌
