Very often, vinyl siding can come loose, pieces become “un-snapped”, things like wind and heat can dislodge the vinyl,
It’s relatively easy to fix…with the right tool
One such example is called a Side Swiper, and it can be used for re-snapping vinyl panels that have loosened or removing viny panels,
If a panel has damage, such as a rock from the lawnmower causing a hole, that panel will require removal and replacement, the Side Swiper can do both,

But seriously, under ten bucks, it takes a wile to understand the concept of, how to use it, so, I recommend, study the diagram it comes with and try to understand how the panels “snap” together, once the concept is understood it becomes, as said earlier, relatively easy,

Chances are, once the viny panels start to dislodge through heat (expansion and contraction), they’ll continue to dislodge into the future,
